The members of The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band want to thank the Red River Valley Fair Assn. for making us a part of their fair entertainment for the fifth year…
#14 - Mr. & Mrs Jim Tumlin

The Tumlins are serious long-distance fans. Although their family lived in Alabama, they to decided let Jim move to Paris, TX so that he could spend more time with Hard2Git. Jim has since moved back home, but it sure was fun while it lasted. We miss you, Jim!

Sorry about this being a week late…..We had a really good crowd at the fairgrounds and also some of the best talent .The h2g band had a wonderful time, james told all new jokes. now tell me how cool that must have been…Stuart brought a young lady with him from Grapeland, her name is Andi Huff and you will hear more from her I am sure, the little booger
Plays fiddle and brought the house down….Mrs.Susie Roach was in prime form but I am afraid that she don’t like me any more….She was just to nice to me…Pat and William Rogers also in prime form…..They played for Wade White and Reva and Pat did a couple of trios and they were great….Wade had with him in the band this night…Mike Merritt on his Martin acoustic Bass…Chad Coursey on fiddle…..Boyd Hudgins on Banjo and Dobro..they had a really good sound as always….If you don’t have any of Wade White’s music YOU OUGHT TO GET SOME……He has several albums out and I have about 4 or 5 of them and they are great….You can contact Wade @ Shoppers Edge pho.# 903 783-1474 or 903 785-5654 He can fix you up with some really good music….
We had some new and exciting talent this time in that Mrs.Phylis Conder came and played the key board and sang for us ” That was quite a treat ” The jam session on the end of the program was really good this time as it always is…Ol Chuck Raper sang a song that I have just got to have …..Are You Praying Hard or Are You hardly Praying……Now where am I going to get those word’s……Help me if you can.
Our next program will be July 22,2006…..That is my younger sister’s birthday and we are going to do something a little different this time for her…..THe hard 2 git band will play as usual…..and then we are giong to have family members from our group and Wade’s group.
