The members of The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band want to thank the Red River Valley Fair Assn. for making us a part of their fair entertainment for the fifth year…
Wow !!!!! What A Weekend
The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band has just finished up a busy weekend starting off 0n Friday night at Pat Mayse Lake playing for the Chicota Baptist Church. The good people fed us really good and were great hosts for this event. We had a super good time. Saturday night we played at one of our favorite places which is Joan Kelton’s Bonham Hoedown out close to the Bonham city lake. She had a packed house and fun was had by all. This is one you don’t want to miss in the future. Sunday night we went to Greenville and played for the Park Street Baptist Church where again we met new friends and visited with old one. It was a good service with a lot of nice people that treated us real good. Monday morning it was up early to go to the studio for our second day of work on our new recording project which will be our second CD. This wraped up a busy weekend but a rewarding one that we will not soon forget. This coming Saturday night we will be at the Calvery Temple in Mount Vernon, Texas starting at 7:00 PM. If you are in the area be sure to join us there. See you somewhere down the road. James
The Friendship Baptist Church
Saturday night at the Friendship Baptist Church was an evening to remember. The reverend Jack Graham and the people there did a wonderful job of hosting the gospel singing event with hot dogs and deserts and good fellowship. Perry Duke and his sister and mother did a great job with their part of the show and were followed by the Lighthouse Quartet. The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band closed the show and fun was had by all. Thanks to Brother Jack and the Friendship family for making us a part of such a wonderful evening. James
