The members of The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band want to thank the Red River Valley Fair Assn. for making us a part of their fair entertainment for the fifth year…
Reunion Photo’s Are Up
Leslie Cunningham took pictures at the PHS reunion banquet and they are now on the web site. Look in concerts and PHS Reunion to see them. The Hard 2 Git Band wants to give a big old thanks to Mary Tarter for giving us the opportunity to play there. It was much fun. Also a big old thanks to Kris Pauley and John Griffin for purchasing our Hard 2 Git CD and Linda Flippen for the purchase of one of our Hard 2 Git Tee Shirts. We hope to get Linda’s pictures for the site. They have to be good because she was on her knees while taking some of them. Thanks to Gary Nash for all the coordination and help to the band. You can find them right here!
Fun At The PHS Reunion
We had a great time visiting with and playing for the people at the Paris High School 60 61 and 62 reunion. The turn out was super and the evening was a good time for all. Jonathan and Stuart were at their best and the people really enjoyed them. The rest of us were among old friends and had a good time. I can’t figure out why everybody there looked so much older than Sam and I.
Saturday Night In Mt. Vernon
The Calvary Baptist Temple in Mt. Vernon welcomed the Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band Saturday night with the hand of christian friendship as we visited there for the second year in a row. They are the nicest people. After a great gospel song service they fed us stew and corn bread and the fellowship was enjoyed by all. We in the H 2 G group would like to thank the good people at The Calvary Baptist Temple for making us a part of their Saturday evening service.
This coming Saturday we will put the finishing touch to a two evening Paris High School reunion at the Heritage Hall in Paris. This event is drawing more people than expected as people make their reservations. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and performing our music this week end. Thanks James
