#17 - Jennifer Eggers

Jennifer Eggers…….Where do I start? The Hard 2 Git bluegrass was in Mtn.View in the picking park just west of the Courthouse and we were short one member of the group….Jonathan could not make the trip this time.I look up and this beautiful young lady came walking up carrying a Larrrivee guitar. I spoke to her and asked if she would join us as we were short a singer. She pulled up a chair and we all introduced ourselves and we inquired if she sang. She said that she only knew a few song’s but one of them was Steel Rails, a song that Reva was wanting to learn so we coaxed her into singing it for us….Man this girl is good…..We had a really great time the rest of the week-end with her and she has become a very dear friend to the H 2 G Bluegrass Band.I am going to give a little background on her and just wish that each one of you could meet her in person.
Jennifer was born in Pennsylvania attended school there and graduated from Penn State. Her musical background is playing the harp for 13 years teaching herself the guitar while in the Girl Scout’s.In 2000 she quit her job in New York and moved to Florida to pursue a career in water sking .From there she was recruited to be Vice president of Leadership Development at Bank of America in Charlotte,N.C. She stayed ther 4 years and was recruited to run Organization Development at AutoZone in Memphis. After a couple of months in Memphis she was introduced to Bluegrass and just went nut’s over it.She is a member of the Memphis Area Bluegrass Association and they play 3 to 4 times a week and she is now in Harmony Station and having the time of her life…..playing some lead guitar singing lead and harmony . Then there is Mtn.View, Ar. Once you discover the music scene in Mtn.View you just have to go there 3 to 4 or 5 or 6 times a year. We are looking forward to seeing her Labor Day.Wish you could be there too.
By the way Jennifer is the one with the dark hair in the picture and the blonde with her is my very own little darlin Reva.

Thank You for visiting our web site,

# 16 - Van The Man

Mr. Van started out being the fan of the month on the Hard 2 Git web site but after much consideration and meditation we have decided to make him the fan of the decade.
We met Mr.Van about 25 or 30 years ago and thru the years has become one of our very best friend’s we have played music with him we have gone to church with we have learned from him and most important we have come to Love him and Respect him.In looking for a phrase that would describe him this one always comes to my mind. He is truly a Southern Gentleman. Mr.Van.

Thanks,
Sam Bolton And All The Hard 2 Git Bluegrass Band

#15 - Mr. Orville “Deep Woods” Todd

Mr. Todd was our our fan of the month once. Now he has been promoted to staff photographer. Someday he will retire to his old position in H2G Pest Control.

#14 - Mr. & Mrs Jim Tumlin

The Tumlins are serious long-distance fans. Although their family lived in Alabama, they to decided let Jim move to Paris, TX so that he could spend more time with Hard2Git. Jim has since moved back home, but it sure was fun while it lasted. We miss you, Jim!
