We are still tallking about the great hospitality and good time the Jerry and Larry Shoemaker showed us at the Barn. We enjoyed seeing and hearing their band Grass Notes as they performed that night with their daughter Christy and husband Walter as part of the band. The crowd was good and they were fun to play for as everybody seemed to have a great time. If you ever get the opportunity to make one of these shows at the Shoemaker Barn don’t miss the chance. Thanks Jerry and Larry for having the Hard 2 Git Band to share the evening. The Shoemakers were a familly band in the early 80’s and won the band contest at Grant’s Bluegrass Festival at Hugo Ok.
